Quinoa Porridge

Quinoa Porridge
1 cup quinoa
2 cups vanilla almond/soy milk
1/4 cup fresh fruit
1/4 cup dried fruit/nuts
1 tsp. cinnamon


Add 1 cup quinoa and 2 cups vanilla almond/soy milk into a 6 quart saucepan. Bring to a boil, reduce simmer for ten minutes. In the meantime chop up some fresh fruit. I used blueberries and strawberries. Once quinoa is finished scoop the quinoa into a bowl, top with fresh fruit, dried fruit and nuts. Then sprinkle some cinnamon or maple syrup on top, perhaps both! 


-I found some honey coated baked pecans that I chopped up and sprinkled on top, sooo goood!
